I’ve just watched the dvd of ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’. Yes, I know..I’m slow! πŸ˜› But all the same, I’m still inspired by that magical world conjured by C.S. Lewis – a place & period where kings & queens rule, princes and princesses reign, and mystical creatures roam. Charmed.

Year-end. Lots of parties, gatherings, get-together & family dinners! Lots of reasons to dress up, look stunning and feel good! Even if you are rushing like a crazed lady for the deadline, given the short workweek, don’t you just hate looking sloppy for a party?

I love these luxe sets. Chic, simple and yet very ‘together’. You don’t really have to fuss too much about matching them as their colors (honey gold, smoky grey and midnight blue) are undeniably complementary for all skin tones. You can wear them each on its own, pair them together, or go all out with the whole set.

Depending on what you are wearing, I would recommend just 2 at a time. A tube dress? Go with the earrings and necklace. A V-neck dress? The bracelet and earrings would add just that right amount of panache. Not a dress? Wear either the earrings, the bracelet or the necklace, and still look dressed up (without trying too hard) and prettily chic!

We all have our fair share of bad hair days. Don’t we just hate ‘heading’ out with a mane of hair that is untamable, undesirable and irking the hell out of us whenever we pass by a mirror?

When I have these days (which I can totally assure you that it happens much too often to my liking with my fine hair), I will whip out my hat or simply go the cool way – tie my tresses into a ponytail. And I thought, how boring it is to just do that with a plain old rubber band that will cause my hair to break in so many places. So, at pling, we jazz it up a little and make sure you have your bad hair fix in a more beautiful way.

And like what Martin Luther King once said, “The hair is the richest ornament of women.” Zap, bad hair days!
